Because I'll get it done in a reasonable time. And I'm still building my portfolio as a fantasy/science fiction artist, so I am affordable. If you're looking for a cover piece, a inside illustration, your fictional character drawn to your specification, or simply a piece of artwork for your wall, I'll be happy to help you.
I work primarily in colored pencils combined with mixed media on 2 ply bristol or illustration board. All of my work is protected by a UV coat and a light spray varnish. Art intended for cover or inside illustrations for web or paper publications will be sent in digital form to the buyer, usually on a CD, in whatever specifications you require. Art purchased to own will be securely packaged and insured to help it reach the safety of your embrace unscathed by our postal system.

Cost and Time Involved:
Depending upon complexity and size of the work, it can
take anywhere from one to two months to complete. A bookmark would take approximately two weeks to complete, and cost the buyer $25 either to own or to commission for use as a illustration in a published work.
A full sized, color illustration would take approximately two months to complete, and cost the buyer around $250, either to own or to commission for use as an illustration in a published work.
Requests to use previously created art for use in a publications is considerably less, as the work is already done and require no more work of me

If commissioned work is not to be purchased for publication, I do request the right to use the image in my gallery. Commissioned artwork may not be used for publication by the buyer unless the buyer specifically paid for that right.Notice to Aspiring Authors:
