Ah, for those quiet, frosty, summer nights on the beach ...
Oh wait -- did I make the sand gray/black? Yes, yes I did.
On purpose actually. Our beaches around here don't come with tan beach sand, but a multitude of gemstones and black-gray rocks. It's quite gorgeous against a rain-stormy sky. And it's not unusual to find people going up and down the beaches after a high tide looking for something particularly special.

If you ever do visit the area, do make a point of visiting our beaches. They are truly mesmerizing.
